Naranja hit

¡Hoooola! Ayer recibí un pequeño pedido de Avon que había estado esperando por algunos días, bastante ilusionada. Debo decir que tres de los cuatro productos, no eran lo que esperaba; uno de esos casos fue este esmalte.

Heeeeeeello! Yesterday I got a little package from Avon that I had been waiting for some days, pretty excited. I have to say that three of the four products weren't what I was expecting; one of the cases was this nail polish.

Lo pedí como un naranja vibrante y brillante... ayer, cuando lo recibí, lo abro, lo pruebo en una de mis uñas y... es-mate. Se ve que no le presté atención a eso y no vi el simbolito que lo especifica. De igual manera, me gustó y me amigué después de la "desilusión" a primera vista (¡y si le ponemos un brillo top coat por encima, queda como un naranja "normal"!)

I requested it as a vibrant and shiny orange... yesterday, when I got it, I opened it and tried it on one of my nails and... it's matte. It seems I didn't pay attention to it and I didn't see the symbol that specifies it. Anyway, I liked it and we became friends after the "disappointment" at first sight (and if we apply a regular top coat on it, it looks like a "normal" orange!)

Su fórmula no me gustó demasiado porque es muy espeso, casi parece como si ya llevara mucho tiempo abierto y estuviese empezando a secarse. No es de muy fácil aplicación por este motivo, pero si le agarramos la mano un poquito, es posible. 

I didn't like its formula so much because it's kinda thick, looks like it has been opened long time ago and it was starting to dry. It's not so easy to apply because of that, but it¿s not impossible.

Yo me puse dos capas, pero una tercera no le hubiese venido mal.

De todas formas, creo que era una oferta y por los AR$25 que lo pagué, no me puedo quejar. Así que en relación precio-calidad, lo recomendaría. 

Quizá le estoy dando más negatividad que positivismo, pero el color es muy lindo, muy primavera/verano, queda muy parejo, sin vetas, y el frasquito trae 8ml. Es más grande que pequeño.

Antes de irme, les cuento que compré otros dos colores, de los que seguramente les contaré más adelante.

I am wearing two coats, but a third one wouldn't hurt. 

Anyway, I think it was a sale and I cannot complain. According to the price-quality relation, I would recommend it.

Maybe I'm saying more bad than good stuff, but the color is really nice, very spring/summer, uniform, and it contains 8ml. It is more big and small.

Before I leave, I will tell you that I bought two more colors I will probably tell you about in some other post.

Mint for life, baby!

Como primer reseña, se me ocurrió que podía ser sobre uno de mis favoritos forever: 615 Mint for life, Super Stay 7 days de Maybelline que si bien no es nuevo, es un color pastel ideal para el verano (aunque el invierno pasado los colores pasteles fueron tendencia también). En fin, ¡qué cosa hermosa este color! La verdad es que me lo compré hace mucho, no recuerdo si fue amor a primera vista, pero seguramente. Lo usé un montón desde entonces, y todavía me queda producto, es increíble (aunque probablemente dentro de poco, lo volveré a comprar para nunca quedarme sin).

La cosa es que es un color precioso, como su nombre lo indica, un color menta bebé (?), que enamora; las fotos no le hacen justicia, lo prometo.

As my first post, I thought it could be about one of my forever favourites: 615 Mint for life, Maybelline's Super Stay 7 days, that if it's not a new color, it's ideal for summer (even though last winter pastel colors were trendy too). Well, what a beautiful thing this color is! Truth is, I bought it a long time ago, I don't remember if it was love at first sight, but probably. I used it a lot since that moment, and I still have product. Thing is it is a beautiful baby minted (?) color that makes you fall in love with it; you can not fully appreciate how beautiful it is in these pictures, I swear.

Es muy cubritivo, aunque no conviene descargar demasiado el pincel en cada carga para que no quede veteado y con transparencias, así que con una capa no muy gruesa pero tampoco muy fina, el color queda bien. Obviamente yo lo apliqué, aplico y aplicaré siempre con dos, para dejarlo bien parejito.

It covers your nails pretty well, even though I wouldn't recommend to discharge the brush too much in every coat: not too little amount of product and not too much works just fine. Obviously I applied, apply and will apply it always with two coats.

El pincel es precioso, perfecto, creo que el mejor de los que he probado hasta ahora. Ancho, y con la punta redondeada, ideal para una persona como yo que siempre termina con los dedos pintados, realmente facilita mucho la tarea.

En cuanto a la duración, no dura los siete días que promete la marca, aunque con pequeños retoques y un buen top coat, quizás sí llegue, o al menos se acerque. Lo voy a chequear y si quieren, después les cuento qué tal. Usándolo sólo con una base debajo, sin el top coat, quizá se aguante cuatro días.

El precio sugerido es de AR$71 que, para mí, los vale. ¿Ustedes qué piensan, lo tienen o lo comprarían? ¿Les gusta el color? ¡Les dejo un beso enorme!

The brush is gorgeous, perfect, I think the best one I've tried so far. Wide, and with circled tip, ideal for a person like me who always ends up with her fingers painted, it really saves your life.
About the lasting, it doesn't last the seven days that the brand promises but with little retouches and wearing a nice top coat it could be, or at least get near. Without top coat, wearing it with just a base, it may last four days.

¡Primer post! Ni siquiera sé si alguien me leerá pero espero que sí... Mi nombre es Leila, tengo 21 años y soy una amante más del mundo de la moda y todo lo que ello conlleva.

Este blog tratará de ser un poco un reflejo de lo que me gusta, lo que uso, quizá algún post sobre lo que me gustaría... en fin, un poco de todo. Obviamente me encantaría leer en sus comentarios qué cosas les gustaría ver también.

No tengo mucha introducción, no sé hacerlo, si quieren saber algo, pueden preguntarlo y responderé más que complacida.

First post! I don't even know if someone is going to read me, but I hope so... My name is Leila, I am 21 years old, and I am one of the many lovers that fashion and all that world comes with.
